Centre for Collaborative Industrial Research and Development (CCIRD) provides the research and technology development capabilities required by the present and future research and technology needs in various field like RF and Microwave Science and the devices, high level of computation and exploration Systems for recent Technology, supporting Analysis and Advanced Concepts for Product Units.

The CCIRD functions as a core resource for Research and Technology to skills students of institutions. The organization is broken into different branches and is highly interdependent with the Engineering Departments, CCIRD provide the facilities of high end Systems Analysis & prototype development, Communication & Business Development to provide research and technology to development of business units.

CCIRD involve in various recent project sponsored by the different funding agency and have collaboration with leading industries to provide supports.

Project Title Design and Development of Long Term Evaluation 4G MIMO Antenna.

  1. To design Multi-antenna technologies for 4G LTE.
  2. Optimize the transmission mode for 4G LTE.
  3. Optimization of different radiation pattern for different of transmission mode.

  5. To optimize the antenna for different UHF band (As in India 4G band not yet allotted publicly)

CCIRD involves student members from the college actively participating in the ongoing research works and facilitate the infrastructure available to the students in completing their undergraduate projects. Some of the projects completed at the CCIRD are

  5. Design of Spiral Antenna with reduced size for mobile Communication Applications
  6. Real-Time Control System for a Frequency Response-based Permittivity Sensor.
  7. Multi-Sensor Based Security Robot using Zigbee
  8. Design of Line Follower Robot using Microcontroller
  9. Running Linux on Raspberry Pi Cluster
  10. Microcontroller System for a Sensor Network for Fire Safety
  11. Wireless Sensor Network for Real Time Monitoring of Land Slides

Project Title: Design and Development of Cost Effective Breast Cancer Detection using Photo acoustic Technique.

The above titled project is proposed by CCIRD and communicated to various funding Agency. With regard to the proposal, CCIRD has collaborated with National Instruments to fund 10% of the project cost and provide technical support from its R&D team.
